Omaha Clay Works Teacher's Workshop coming this Summer! Do you need to brush up on your wheel throwing skills, handbuilding techniques? Do you want to know more about glazes and glazing? Firing your kiln? This is the class for you! All teachers, all levels, all districts throughout the Metro Omaha/Council Bluffs area and Lincoln are invited to register. We will review the basic knowledge of the ceramic process with an emphasis on wheel throwing, glazes, and kilns for inexperienced and experienced teachers at all levels. The classes will cover wheel throwing, handbuilding and sculptural techniques, different kinds of clay and mixing clay, use of slips and glazes, glazing decoration, bisquing, firing electric and gas kilns. Register by July 5th to save your spot. Limit 25 |
